I'm weaving a large tapestry showing the path of the eclipse as it crosses the US of A. It will be glorious.

I think people aren't appreciating just how rare and awesome a total solar eclipse is.

Pulling into TN this morning. A nice hike in the morning and enjoying it in Cades Cove.... Unless it is fricking overcast that is currently forecasted.

I'm going to wake up, smoke part of a joint, watch it at 90%, finish the joint, then sleep a few more hours before work. If it wasn't a Monday, I'd drive a few hours and catch it at totality.

Probably working from home since downtown Cola is going to be a fricking zoo since we're in the totality zone.

And by working from home I mean making sure shite's not on fire every now and then while I enjoy an adult beverage or six and watch the eclipse.

when are you coming in?

stay on the west side of town. get off on 840 or 96 and go up highway 100 or hillsboro road to avoid the insanity of where 65, 24 and 40 meet.

you will not be going anywhere on monday so plan to get close to where you want to watch it sunday evening.

Playing this classic Bonnie Tyler hit from 1983 on repeat all day.

But now there's only love in the dark
Nothing I can say

I'm off so I'll be at home since we're in the direct path here. I dunno where we're gonna put all the ppl coming to SC for this. Columbia and Greenville estimate over a million visitors and Charleston is predicting over 2 million. All hotels, campsites and privately owned rentals are spoken for in those cities and the ones surrounding them.

Going to McClellanville, SC with the girlfriend and my folks to watch it. We're going to make a day of it so we'll probably drive half an hour south afterwards to eat supper in Charleston.
