Please purchase the proper eyewear
Can't find any glasses anywhere. Been looking for days. Everyone is sold out. Even had a couple of orders cancelled after the purchase.

It's a workday during the day, so I'm working. I understand though that it's unusual to be a worker in America 2017.

Also, FYI if you are in the path you can look at it without the glasses.
You can look at it safely without the glasses only during the couple minutes of complete eclipse. When it starts becoming partial again you need glasses.
A few friends and I are driving up to the path of totality this weekend and going camping. Coming back for work on Tuesday.

Dont be that guy.
There is such a thing as vacation time. Or, if you do want to work, when the eclipse reaches totality, take a few minutes to go into the parking lot.

Some of us with jobs were actually offered the ability to select certain days in advance to have off. It's called "vacation time." You should look into that because it's pretty cool to be able to take off of work occasionally when something important or interesting to you might be happening on a weekday.

I'll be taking off a couple of hours early to watch it with my wife and son. We're going to be at 98%, good enough for me. We're in our mid 30's so it'll likely be the best chance that we get of seeing one without traveling.

Kige, you know damned well that you'll be in Russellville. Not that there's anything wrong with that since Russellville will have a great view of the eclipse.

This is so weird. So... those of us who are salaried with good jobs that allow us to take off are not "workers in 2017?" As a Kentucky alum and a native Kentuckian, you embarrass me.
Most of the Western world works to live. The average American lives to work. It's not a good thing to be proud of the fact that you can't take off to watch a once in a lifetime event. It's really sad, actually.
No, I'm not a "libtard." I'm just a sensible American who is happy to be able to watch this event with my wife and son because I have an employer who actually cares.

By the way the term undisclosed location is a reference to the George W Bush Administration
