I think it is stupid to boycott shite. Just because a company does something I don't agree with, if I like their product I am not going to stop using it.
When it comes to Nike I don't really buy their products anyway just because they are the most popular shoe company.. Just because I like to go against the grain (to some degree at least. I am not going to buy off brand shoes because everyone wears name brand.. I just rather go with a different brand).
With that said, I think them pulling the shoe they recently pulled is stupid just because Colin Kaepernick wanted them to. And I think he is an idiot because I think him being the face of some type of culture revolution fell in his lap all because he was trying to get out of SF (in 2016 when Chip Kelly was hired CK said that he didn't want to play for him. He started kneeling for the flag the 3rd preseason game that year, which I honestly believe he did hoping to get cut because that was the only way to get out of his contract, but because it was an election year, it became bigger than he ever imagined).
I honestly think it is funny he is the face of police brutality on black people. This is his life.
- Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Mom is white, dad is black.
- Was adopted by a white family.
- Lived in Milwaukee until 4 years old when his family moved to Turlock, California which has a black population of 1.4%.
- Went to John H Pitman High School, which is a public school that is ranked one of the best in California.
- Play college ball at Nevada, which is in Reno, Nv which the city itself has a population of 2%.
- The university of Nevada's student body has 3.3% black people.
He was a privileged mixed race kid who was around mostly white people through college.

I've stopped shopping at Dicks that's about it.
I haven't bought cheap Nike garbage in over 10 years.. Haven't been in a Target in recent memory, but I don't do that kinda shopping anyway..

This. To the Netflix boycotters...if you are not virtue signaling and are really impassioned about the issue then get ready to boycott all Disney networks (which includes ESPN) CBS (oh no how will you watch SEC on Saturdays) Viacom (CMT, Comedy Central, etc..).
So will you put your money where your mouth is or are you just pretending? FWIW my hat is off to you if you are that impassioned about the subject...that's your choice. I just don't want anyone to be able to call you a hypocrite by saying you won't watch Netflix because of their stance on the abortion issue while your watching that weekly 2:30 CBS game.
