this whole Dylan Mulvaney thing inspired me to research a little today - Constellation owns not only the rights to distribute Corona/Modelo but also the two breweries in Mexico where 100% of the beer is produced. So I’m okay with them (especially since it’s actually decent and always competitively priced vs other macros).

love me some Guiness too, but I seriously doubt anyone will be switching from a watery pilsner like Bud Light to a meal-in-a-can stout

Never drank Bud Light but will recommend Shiner Bock to those searching.

I never drank Bud Light (because it’s the worst domestic beer, imo), but I do occasionally drink regular Budweiser when I want a cheap beer at a bar that doesn’t have Canebreak or has it ridiculously priced.

I’ll probably sub the Budweiser for Colt 45 at the store or just suck it up and spend a couple dollars more for a local beer.

My love of Colt 45 has never been ironic. I just wish they sold it in 16 oz cans here like they do other places.

Boy did you frick this up

Only beers listed that are owned by AB are:
. Michelob Ultra
. Stella Artois (part of the InBev takeover)

Corona is owned by Constellation brands and Miller Lite is owned by Molson Coors in America.

LandShark and Hoegaarden are also owned by AB, which sucks because I really like both of those.

Some others I don't drink:
Busch
Natty Light
Shock Top
Kona

Not switching, continuing to drink Budweiser...
Budvar that is. The original Budweiser that AB stole the name from. From the Czech Republic.

You're right. I was referring to the OP and the beers that he has listed.

And yet I think it's pretty much the best.

For me to drink Bud Light, it has to be cold, free, and literally the only option. I have actually quit drinking and switched to water more than once when the only other option was Bud Light. I don’t know why, but I just can’t stand it.

Are bud light drinkers really so brand loyal that they have no idea what to drink?

TBH we've reached a point where most of these large corporations are scared to death of getting bullied by the Insanity Nazis, so they either throw money at them or do silly shite like this to try and keep them at bay.

Thanks to the dumb woke Bier Girl(?) at AB, they've suffered at least a temporary hit in their pockets. It probably won't last- but perhaps the shareholders will put enough pressure on the real powers that be to demote her down to Beer Hostess, Third Class where she belongs.

I been team Miller lite since those retro cans started coming out about a decade ago I guess. But I will tell you one thing. Last night I was at a restaurant that has exclusive AB stuff (BL, Mich Ultra, Stella, etc) and the waiter was able to scare me up a couple of Coors Lights.
