Oh yeah, let's introduce the largest, most dangerous invasive species in the history of this country.

The Mexican border could be turned into a Tiger preserve.

So mountain lions and wolves are near extinction?

Wolves nearly were and mountain lions are naturally solitary and live in places usually not habitated with many people.. Bears have also been hunted to near extention in spots and are protected in others.. The others two aren't predators.. The fact remains that if Tigers were roaming near any populated area on this continent they would've been hunted relentlessly

A preserve could be built. Idaho isn't pulling its weight. Put it there.

Estimate there are more tigers in captivity in Texas than live in the wild.

They probably are killing tigers because they're ferocious animals. If you live in a village and a tiger is wrecking shop, are you gonna kill it or sit back and admire its beauty?

Besides, I believe loss of land is the real culprit, not the underground tiger bone trade

Most of the worlds problems come down to too damn many humans. We are a blight.

Just like anything exotic, loss of habitat and poaching are largely to blame.

Well, if they were here, they would have been hunted to nesr extinction 100 years ago, like every other large carnivore/animal in North America.
Sad, but true.

Can you imagine walking to your deer stand in the dark knowing there were Bengal tigers around.

It would make outdoorsman-ship more interesting. Weed out a lot of loud people who have no business being out there anyways.
