This is just getting ridiculous. How bout put the blame on the idiot that was driving like a bat out of hell to evade police. I just don’t understand why people want to strip the police of their abilities to pursue criminals. It will only make matters worse.

I beez seeing him on a day to day basis, he wasn't selling no drugs or robbing nobody or killing nobody out here or nothing like that...

Will just lead to more police shootings to prevent car chases.
I’ll allow it.
I’ll allow it.

But will it actually make matters much worse if cops don’t commence in risky and dangerous high speed chases in residential areas?

quote:Nope. Alternative to chase is to cordon off, roadblock, EVERY avenue of escape causing major traffic problems and causing the perps to abandon vehicles and force entry into homes.

Good police work will be public interference with "normal" routine life, daily.

That area is more commercial than residential. It is a long straight shot. Problem for these perps is that NOLA streets suck. I can’t imagine driving at a high rate of speed down that street. Blame should lie with Mitch and now Latoya for not doing more to repair NOLAs 3rd world streets

The parents (I'm kidding, I know that should be singular) of these idiot thugs just won the ghetto lottery: Squeeze out some worthless kids that get hurt or killed doing something illegal , then get PAID.....

Amen! Demand safer streets for our criminals to evade police, enough is enough!

Would you really expect anything different?

media is one thing...the court is another.

Piss on the media. They can "want" in one hand and "shite" in the other. report back to us and tell us which one fills up first.
