I think the coaches are required, but it is definitely going overboard. It is probably more of "hey look, we are taking proper precautions. Does this make you feel better about the game being played?"..

I am not an anti-masker so I am not saying this just because I don't think mask work or something, but when you break it all down, it just makes little sense.

I’m so glad they’re wearing masks. It makes me happier to see them pull down their mask when they need to talk to or yell at someone. Our country is in such a great place.

You’re part of the problem.

It’s one of the dumbest thing I’ve seen. It’s all for optics and show. How can the league threaten fines for on field personnel while players aren’t forced to have them on? It’s funny watching cameras cut to a coach and he’s not wearing one and 5 seconds later his get back coach told him to pull it up. Russell Wilson wasn’t wearing his the entire final two minutes of the game, but as soon it’s a key situation with a camera on him, he’s got it on walking off the field post game.

Kind of like walking through a full restaurant with a mask on, only to sit down and take your mask off to eat. Whole thing is to make hypochondriacs feel better.

I'm absolutely not an advocate for wearing masks, but the point of wearing a mask while walking around a restaurant is so you aren't coughing all over all the other tables you walk by. When you are sitting at your own table you are "socially distanced".

It's all stupid though.

Saw the Chargers's owner sitting in his personal suite, alone, and in an empty stadium, wearing a mask.

What’s even better is the coaches that are wearing mask and still hold that play card in front of their mouth when they calling playing into the headset

I was at a breakfast joint the other day, wore a mask to the table then took it off when I sat down. The lady at the next table gasped in horror, but calmed down when the waiter carrying coffee set it on my table.

Remember, I drink coffee to keep you safe, and you drink coffee to keep me safe.

Pete Carroll is one of the last coaches I would imagine would say screw it and not wear mask.

He needs one even without a pandemic.

Just another example for the hypocritical NFL. They fine people for wearing purple for domestic violence awareness or patriotic, but wearing BLM is A-ok.

Watch any MLB games? The camera men are outdoors with no one around them and have masks on. Pathetic.

I’m not sure I’ve ever walked around a restaurant coughing on all the tables
Usually I don’t go out if I’m sick & if I do cough in public I cover my mouth

I already said I think it's all stupid, but you didn't quote that part.

But anyways, that's the reasoning, whether people want to see that or not.
