So my boy Bawson refuses to do service work in a Baton Rouge Home...

Because he feels unsafe. Bawson says there are a bunch of sketchy-looking teen kids going full thug in the yard, which is strewn with trash and discarded boxes. He actually takes a photo and sends it in. Says the woman who lives there (name is Ciera) is belligerent and has pit bulls running outside and they can't pay him enough to risk the pitbulls and the craziness of the woman and the unpredictability of the kids. All statements that would get him cancelled and reeducated. He only does this maybe once every couple of years- when it feels too risky to go into a home and the hair stands up on the back of his neck and his Spidey senses kick in. Management tells him-trust your gut. Don't go in. Let her use somebody else's service.
He wonders if he did the right thing. Feels kind of guilty. Fast forward three weeks to the same house.

A 14-year-old was shot in the head and died Saturday night after a gun he and three other teens were playing with was discharged, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office. The shooting happened just after 9:30 p.m. at a home in the 5800 block of Rio Drive. A statement from EBRSO said the 14-year-old victim was in a bedroom with three other teenage boys when one of them discharged a handgun the four had been playing with during the day.
The three teens gave detectives conflicting statements about what occurred, EBRSO said, and the teens-- 13, 14 and 15 years old — were booked into a juvenile detention center on counts of negligent homicide.

What sort of “service work” does Bawson do?

I was looking for where they tried to cancel him
More people need to refuse to do work in certain areas, it’s not worth their life to fix a toilet for a slumlord

A friend of mine does security systems, he says the same. Some places are obviously not safe.

I'm sorry, but as a rental property owner (slumlord), I just don't see the threat. Some people are just pussies.

While you were still in diapers ( so say about seventh grade ) Chicken held a contest to name my kids. The winners were Chaz ( soccer board), Choade ( OT ), and Che ( Poli board). But no Bawson.

Damn,I was born in 1956.So you and Bawson should be retired by now.
I was just joking around,btw.
You're kid made the right decision if he felt unsafe.
No harm meant.
