Based on all that rambling, I wouldn’t expect you to understand a Union and it’s meaning.
Based on your utter lack of well though out response, or complete inability to argue any point related to the topic at hand (of which you started) I wouldnt expect you to comprehend any counter to your claim as anything more than "rambling"
And I have to work alongside unions pretty much year-round in multiple facets. I am overtly clear on the "meaning" of labor unions.
But congrats on paying that lazy tax to your union so that no matter how adept you are at your job, or how incompetent the kid next to you is at his job, someone else has pre-determined how much you and all your co-workers are worth regardless of skill sets

Drive a Honda car. Drove a Nissan truck before.
Union labor in the US in this day and age is like a fat bloated government group. Fck them.

Well at least I didn’t cuss anyone out and belittle them. Sleep well. And read a bible.

So you hate the Union, but support the Union paid NFL players. Just making sure I understand. Again, have a great night.
They have both a valuable and unique skill set.
ETA: Which means they aren’t easily replaced. You can support the reasoning for a group of individuals like this to have union but not support the players.
Those two aren’t mutually exclusive.

What’s the point of a union in 2019?
Other that training within the trades they are pretty useless.

Well I do not have any issue with the people, it is the unions and their lies that I have an issue with. They say they are for the working man. But all they do is use the working man as a weapon. They then take that working man’s money and contribute it to political parties that are often against the working man. It’s all a lie.

He probably needs to grab his safety harness and OSHA approved boots before he's allowed to pick up whatever remains of this busted thread

Don't be foolish. His 45 minute union mandated break is over and he has to head back to work for 2 hours before lunch.

Not everything made in America is manufactured by union workers. Most “strong” union factories rely on non-union materials and resources. I don’t have an issue with unions other than their inability to appreciate what companies need to do to remain viable and profitable, especially those that are publicly traded. I do find it comical that after 20 or so days of strike an employee makes money from the union strike fund (if it doesn’t get cut) which is far less than their normal salary. They finally sign a contract for less than they were asking/striking for, maybe get a small signing bonus, come out net in the hole and claim victory. It’s also a bad look for unions when states are forced to pass “right to work laws” you know for those who want the work. If there was solidarity and true injustice those laws wouldn’t be necessary. Much of a union’s power to strike or sign is held at the top. Sure you get a strike vote locally but the International union can overturn that or sign on behalf of the locals. They won’t typically bc it’s bad for the union business which is ironic bc the company doesn’t want to sign the offer for the same reason. To each his own

You two are simply fools! Union workers are at home right now!! Hahahahahaha! All good fun fellas. Agree or disagree, I won’t let it bother me.
