So i've decided to quit smoking and pick up vaping.

And it's all with the intention of quitting smoking all together, lowering the nicotine content of the e-juice gradually till i'm just vaping OG concentrate.
Anywho, I picked up a 30w mod with an atlantis tank, and I'm actually enjoying it so far.
My biggest fear is turning into one of those vape douches who turns it into a hobby/does it indoors and teaches people the difference between smoke/vapor though.
You guys thoughts on vaporizers and using it as a quit smoking tool?

I just thought the stigma was that the vaping community was like that. Not just people who go outside for a quick vape and use it as a non-smoking tool.
Thats just what i've interpreted it as though.

Some people claim that it helped them, and they quit successfully with it. However, I found it to be problematic with myself and a few of the people I know. It just becomes a crutch not too different than that "just one more cigarette." For me it was an excuse to not just cut it off completely, and as long as I left that door slightly open I was prone for it to snowball. If your plan is to quit then just do it. You just have to get the mindset to just be done. I ended up using the patch to wean myself off. That worked better for me. Your experience may vary though, and you may not have the same issues as me. Just my 2 cents.

I quit smoking a few months ago and here's how I did it. Over a course of 1.5-2 months, I started cutting back gradually. Eventually I got to the point where I was smoking only 2-3 a day. Once I got there, the smaller amount of cigs started making me feel worse which seems counter-intuitive, but it helped push me over the hump of quitting altogether. I ran out of cigs and just didn't buy another pack. I started counting the days since my last cigarette and I'm currently around 4 months.
Good luck to you man. It's the best decision for your health you can control

I've been toying with the idea of quitting cold turkey, but I do appreciate the words of encouragement.

Just quit. I've never been a smoker, but I quit dipping about 2 months ago. You just have to put it in your mind you're done

Still addicted to nicotine. The addiction is what kills people.

It is better than smoking but it isn't healthy either. And yes, don't do it in public, you will look like a douche.

I quit smoking with vaping 3 years ago. Glad I did, but vaping has become the habit. Healthier than smoking, but I still need to drop it.

You're gonna find some flavors like Blueberry Muffin or Strawberry shortcake and be addicted to that shite for life

Just do Chantix, side effects aren't that bad like people act like. Basically same side effects you get when quitting cold turkey. Former 2 pack a day smoker
