the way things are now, I don't see couples staying married for 50 plus years anymore. It's just not going to happen. Not only has it become more socially acceptable to divorce, people's views and desires about what they want out of life have changed. Family, white picket fence, house in the burbs isn't what most girls want now.

I don't think all men are miserable, I'm just making the point that now more than ever marriages aren't lasting as they once did. Girls aren't satisfied with getting flowers a few times a year and being treated right. They want this Pinterest-level romance non-stop in addition to having all of their needs met. It's just not realistic.
