I have a 2020 GMC AT4 with the 6.2 and 10 speed transmission.
The smoothest shifting, riding, just a blast to drive truck I've owned.
Get 26 mpg putting around in the country... 21 driving the speed limit on the interstate.
Get one and enjoy it.

Can you spring for the Sierra AT4? It’s the off-road package. They always looks sweet as hell on the road
I got one of these in December, and it’s fantastic. With the 6.2 it drives really nice, and it has all the gadgets you could want.

our company has a similar policy for vehicle stipend except foreigns are ok but it has to have adaptive cruise
Takes some getting used to.
Darth, we have mostly all RAM trucks and they have given us no reason to shop elsewhere.
Good luck.
I’ve got a ‘20 Grand Cherokee, 8 months into it and 30k miles, zero issues.

Are the transmissions in Rams still garbage? My dad had Dodge company trucks for years and every time he got them to about 60k miles the transmission would start slipping. Happened with 3 different trucks.
I’ve heard the same thing about Dodge transmissions. It’s the main thing that gives me pause.
Staring in 2019 Ram starting using ZF Friedrichshafen’s 8HP75 (2nd Generation) transmission. That model transmission is also used by Jeep, BMW M series and 7 series, Alfa Romeo, and Aston Martin. I would assume if there were issues with it it would be well known at this point.

Ram is owned by an Italian company so does domestic to your company mean American owned company, most parts are domestic, or assembled in American plant?

I have a 2020 Silverado 1500 LTZ. It’s a nice truck but there are design flaws IMHO.
The AC condensates on the exhaust manifold. When I turns it off, I hear the drip and sear of water on the hot manifold. It will lead to rust down the road. I’m certain if it.
The transmission takes a minute to warm up. If I crank it up and immediately back out the driveway, it almost misses second gear when I roll into drive. It’s weird. If I let the remote start warm the truck up, it doesn’t do it.
It shuts down at red lights (I think everything on your list does these days). I hate this feature. I’ve had the starter grind a few times. I’ll be installing a bypass wire harness as soon as warranty is up. It’s gotten replacing a starter soon written all over it.
I like the truck but I think they missed on these items FWIW

Ram has been motortrend truck of the year 4 out of the past 8 years. They have really worked hard to reverse their image. I got a 19 and absolutely love it.

If you get a $900/ month truck allotment then just go freaking buy one and move on with life. The honest answer is they are all great vehicles.

God that’s ugly. I hate how Ford puts those tiny tires on. Their trucks look so top heavy

My current F150 has this “feature” as well. But it also has a button on the dash where I can turn it off. I noticed yesterday the Ram also had the same auto stop bypass switch. I think the Chevy is the only one of trucks that doesn’t have the button.

Nah they have it too. You just have to remember turn it off before you set off. It defaults to being on.

Get a Tundra. Most American made full size truck out there.

No. I work for Cat. I’ve been a product support rep for years. I’ve had a company issued F150 work truck all this time. I technically have a Toyota Tundra as a personal truck. But I passed it down to my son when he turned 16 three years ago. Friday I accepted their offer to be a product manager. This means I have to give over my F150 to whomever takes over my old territory. Going forward, instead of a company issued truck, I will have a truck allowance.
