Bruh do you know how much damage was done to the real things during the war? Be happy that they're largely still in one piece and everyone made it out alive.

Had friends that were into model airplanes and such. I tried one of those paper gliders that had a rubber band and a propeller, far as I got. But a few of my friends hung their planes with light mono from the ceiling and one painted clouds above them that was cool as hell. Might think of this the next time you display your stuff at work.

No. But her company is going to give me just shy of $300 to replace what she broke.

You didn’t press them for more money, regarding the time element it takes to complete each model?

I wouldn’t even know how to quantify that. My best guess is it would take about 6 months to rebuild all six. But that’s me just working weekends on them. My best guess is each model takes somewhere between 40-60 hours. So let’s split the difference and say 50 hours each which means a combined total of 300 hours. So what’s the going rate for a model builder per hour? I have no idea. I’ve only built a couple models on commission and didn’t bill hours either time. But for the sake of easy math, let’s say $30 per hour. So

$30 x $300 = $9,000

Then add in the kits: $275, so that totals $9,275.00

I’m guessing the cleaning company might balk on that.

Kudos.

Sorry bout your models, OP.

Quick question: do any of your models ever have SS stickers? Asking for a friend.

That's just crazy. Why f up your office when they could have messed up the office with Cabbage Patch dolls?

Maybe the WWII Museum in New Orleans will let you borrow their Corsair.

Oh my gosh! That is horrible Darth! Those models were absolutely perfect as always. I am so very sorry you had that happen. That is bad luck at its worst.

Not to sidetrack (too much) I saw an F4 aviation art piece years ago, it was a flight of F4's flying away from cliffs that reminded me of out in Utah or somewhere. I want to say the artists name was Carpenter or something similar. If anyone knows the particular painting I'd love to have a copy.

What’s weird is the cleaning crew never dusts. They just take out the trash and vacuum the shitty carpet. And even if they were going to dust, I could tell they were far from careful.

Senorita was getting blasted from behind and the night guard got a little carried away slapping that big arse around; she reached up for the shelving to stabilize and your model planes took a fall. Dude probably ejaculated on them when he finished too.

Sorry Darth. I know you take great pride in your work. I’d redo and just keep them ultra safe.
