shtick? I don't know. I definitely make fun of emotional arguments though, as I feel they should be mocked.
I don't get upset over different opinions. Can you provide evidence of this?
Pointing out someone's emotional argument isn't getting upset by their opinion.

you seem to get really upset that anyone has a different opinion than you. Why is that?

I give Nike credit for letting us know where they stand instead of just going with the mainstream and keeping quiet to sell more product.
But I hope they give me and others credit for standing by our values, and using our constitutional right to boycot their products.
It's the American way.

You're doing a pretty good job of keeping an even keel. These mongoloids don't even realize that they outnumber anyone who disagrees with them on here, but they still want to play the victim. It's insane. Keep on, keepin on, Salmon.

Well, based on your post history and involvement on these type of topics: it seems as if it personally affects you if someone holds a different opinion than yours. So I would assume you too get emotionally wrapped up in them.

Actually meant to refer to Jesse Owens in Berlin. The point still stands that the US Olympic team has long embraced showing out against oppression.

Nike's only interest is making money.
I think there was personal feelings involved with this Kaep campaign, just as ESPN and many other companies make personal decisions
That is their prerogative, but in no way do I think this campaign is purely business

This is not about being against America or the military, never has been.
Those who lie to themselves and say it does also are foolish enough to think the respect our troops and veterans deserve is standing for an anthem as opposed to feedings, clothing, and housing them when they return. How many hungry and homeless veterans do these mouth breathers step over or drive pass daily. Yet they are the first ones hollering respect our troops. If I were a vet I would be flabbergasted at their weak attempt to use me as their pawn.

Then why didn't they come out 2 years in favor of CK? Why wait until now?

It is 100% a business decision...they have to stay edgy in order to stay in the game
They dont give a frick about Kaepernick....they are using him like the whore he is

Nike supporting the face of the kneeling against the flag campaign because the USA oppresses blacks and civil rights.

It's criticism. You can love America, and still want it to be better. We should always strive for improvement. This is the greatest country that has ever existed. Let us with decent lives try to lift up the ones with shitty lives to our level, rather than laugh at them.
It's the best way.
