A dude I use to hang out with had no shame. He would see a girl he thought was hot and go talk to her. Whether it was in a bar, in the store, etc.. One day someone asked him how does he do it without even thinking about it. He said he would picture the girl sitting on the toilet and it made him not hold her up above anyone else so going talk to them wasn't a big deal..

No way. Indian guys are the most confident dudes I’ve ever seen when it comes to approaching women. Creepy and no shame sure. But damn they aren’t afraid of going up to every single girl in a bar and then ask to have sex with them. It’s impressive really.

Honestly I wasn't great at it but if I really felt like a girl was starring and giving real signs of interest I'd go over and just introduce myself and kind of go from there. Never really had a set way of doing it.

Y'all are making this too hard on yourselves. You can literally walk up and start talking to any woman about anything and they will respond.
Just don't open the conversation with "want to go back to my place?"and 100% of women will be happy to talk to you.
Where you go from there is up to you but if you want a sure fire win and you know you'll see that woman again just walk away after chatting and plan to bump into her again in a day or 2. For some reason when they see you again it's like shooting fish in a barrel to get a date. Pro tip: remember one thing from the previous conversation they said and ask about it.

A close number 2 is always leave her wanting more.
For example, you introduce yourself and say something pertaining to the establishment you’re in, she responds positively and you now have her engaged. After just a minute or two have a non-rude reason why you need to walk off. You’re now in a delicate situation so you need to leave her with your charm. Then circle back to her a while later (could be a day or so if not at a bar) and apologize for whatever reason you had to walk off and pick up where you left off.

There’s a YT channel where this dude does ridiculous stuff and cheesy pickup lines to get girls numbers and it’s hilarious how often it works. Confidence and not being afraid/care about rejection is the main takeaway (especially playing it off after they say they have a boyfriend/already taken)

There are a couple guys on YouTube that film themselves being really awkward walking up to girls yet they have confidence. That's really all it is. They pick up women so much easier than any of these self proclaimed pick up artists that follow this formula of "hey where is the nearest starbucks? Actually im just kidding, i thought you were really cute and wanted to say hello". Not to mention those guys are usually tall or ripped and really they are in denial about how much they get by on their looks.
I mean really, just start a conversation out of genuine interest with "picking them up" being the last thought on your mind.
