So did BR chief resign because of SWB, or because Nakamoto was snooping around?

BRPD breaking own policy about suspended officers/officers on leave working extra duty.
LINK
Blake Salamoni one of them.
What say OT?

Just watched it. Kind of weak by Nak standards.

Since Salamoni did nothing wrong, I don't have a problem with it. But this will probably blow up.

Why would nakamoto go after the good guys? He backs the blue

He did do something wrong. He broke Department rules.
He was placed on leave.

Ok, he did nothing wrong to be placed on leave which then subjected him to this rule which limited his earning potential.

He was placed on administrative leave after the shooting like all officers are.
He worked extra duty two days later. Which was against the rules.

I don't see how that's a big deal, usually on extra duty it's a private business paying the cop to hang out. It's not like it's tax money, if the business wants to pay the officer then great.
Now if you really wanna get outraged at a BRPD officer, there was one that kidnapped and raped a girl while his buddies posted lookout, while on duty. We could talk about them.....

Interim Police Chief Jonny Dunnam said after a review, and learning of this story, the extra duty issue has come to an end. "We have since changed the policy,” he said. Changes took effect in September.
Sounds like SWB got SWB'd by the police chief
quote:
"After the public information request was filed by y'all, we looked into the incidents involving officers working extra duty while on leave," Dunnam said. “The investigation revealed these officers worked administratively, running extra duties, calling officers, these were duties they did from their house."
Ok.
It's not like he was a beat cop. He was acting as a secretary. I don't really care about that.

You have a reading comprehension problem

The guy probably relies on those extra duty hours, taking them away when he's only under investigation and hasn't been proven guilty is a dumb policy. This isn't a "gotcha" story, it's a "we should probably change this policy" kind of story.
Now if he had used his power as an officer to force a woman to have sex with him, that would be a different story

Not to mention that the investigation was artifically dragged along for political purposes thereby hurt his ability to earn even more

I always figured the police union would support a copper in that situation

They listed names of various officers who were involved in this. I guarantee you there's only ONE name who they will make cry foul over. Some of the names sounded....dark. Bet those get magically overlooked.

Yes please talk about this. When did officers kidnap a girl and rape her

isn't doing actual police work.
This is a bunch of bullshite. My buddies dad was a retired cop with no law enforcement power. He managed numerous details as far as scheduling officers, doing payroll, turning in time sheets, etc. These officers did NOTHING wrong.

This is a pretty bullshite story by Nak. Really nothing to see here. The only reason it's going to blow up is because of one name on that list. His name is like Trump's, in that just the sight of his name, regardless of what he's doing, will trigger fat frick and the twins into another world.

A few years ago three cops caught a couple fricking at a park in BR. They told the guy to leave and then one officer had sex with the girl while two others served lookout. She claimed rape and he said she consented. I'm not sure how you can reasonably refuse sex with three armed men holding you hostage alone, but whatever.
Cop then gets investigated by other BRPD officers who can't find enough evidence to convict. Google it, the advocate covered it pretty well. I'm just amazed that the guy is free and clear and nobody ever talks about it.
