Wouldn’t the lawsuit be impeding on free speech? Wouldn’t it be impeding on Chicken’s rights as an owner? Was the information posted about the politician fabricated? If not, he has no grounds.

If Chicken were to ever cash out and become a site in which one must log on via facebook, etc.... the site would cease to exist. Ask John Georges how it worked out for him. He destroyed one of the greatest papers in the history of this country, the Times Picayune. When his nola.com website changed from anonymous log ins to ones actual name, comments went from the hundreds on all articles to nearly ZERO comments for all articles. That has GOT to effect it in the long run. Short run gain for long term death.

If someone used a personal email address instead of a throwaway, people could be doxxed. All kinds of information can be found with an email address.
