There are probably 50 male-owned businesses in New York that thought about doing the opposite in protest, but realized their store would be seized and burned to the ground if they did, a la the double standard.

Yeah, no shite. They can (and will) get sued into an oblivion over this. If I were a scumbag ambulance chaser, I would take joy in putting this woman out of business with a class action lawsuit. Imagine what would happen with "white customers shop tax free".

There's no way that's true. You couldn't do a "Whites Only" thing and not lose your net worth in lawsuits. I'm pretty sure discrimination is based on sex and not just females.
This has for sure happened in one way or another in NYC's history based on racism, sexism, or xenophobia and that they forced the company in question to serve them equally. This a lawyer's wet dream. They will be sued and soon.

1. Send significant other there to purchase anything you need tax free.
2. Go in afterwards, fill a cart to overflowing with miniscule items, ring up then be like.. wtf? I didn't see the sign and leave store without purchasing anything.

Very dumb idea. The pharmacy is targeting the customers, not the products.
Others have already pointed out that women can use a men's razor or shampoo.
Another problem is most of the items in the store are gender neutral.
If this pharmacy really wanted to address the so-called pink tax, they would sell the Mach Fusion for the same price as the Venus and Old Spice at the same price as Secret.
