Exactly! It overwhelms you and comes out of nowhere, in the worst place at the worst time.

In the summer I'll be exposed lot of pollen and grass fluff, and so I'll have horrible, 7-8 sneeze long fits.

If they hit me while driving I just let off the gas, try to hold my lane (or pull over if I'm on the shoulder) and pray the person in front of me doesn't slam on their brakes.

Piloting 2&1/2 tons of screaming steel at 60 miles an hour blind is not fun.

My mom got pulled over sneezing while driving. Cop was behind her, she sneezed and the wheel jerked causing her to swerve. Cop pulls her over, she tells him she sneezed hard causing her to swerve. He let her go….

I dont know that I have ever even given a second thought to sneezing while driving. I had no idea this was a thing that people are actually scared about.

I remember reading decades ago that annually in the UK officials there attributed 9 deaths to sneezing whilst otherwise attempting to drive a motor vehicle.

I was driving this morning, not at a high rate of speed but with a lot of cars around. Was about to shift a couple lanes and get into a turn lane when two sneezes happened, one after the other. I had a foot on the brake but didn't want to slam on it because there was traffic behind me.

So I just pointed to the open hole and applied slight pressure.
Lucky no one pulled in front of me in those 2 seconds.

Made me think how terrifying having a proper sneezing fit is on the interstate at a high rate of speed.

Anyone else hate this experience or have a bad episode to share?

I had to bail my Mama out of jail about 35 years ago because she had been arrested for DUI because she refused to take the test....swore she was sneezing when she crossed the center line. I don't know if she was drunk or not at the time but she was drunk a lot of the time but the state was not overly concerned if she was or wasn't, she was as far as they were concerned. Cost her about $500.

I was driving a school bus to a wrestling tournament, and sneezed merging onto interstate in Dallas. I thought life was over for everyone.

I drive with my knees while playing with my phone so this isn’t an issue.

Can't say I've ever had that experience but I do let out an occasional fart when my butler is taking me home from Fogo de Chao.

If you have just eaten at Fogo de Chao you're lucky you didn't shite all over yourself and your limo....$70 for what amounts to a Ryan's Steakhouse is detrimental to ones bowel health....

Even worse, has anyone ever gotten a neck shock while quickly turning head while driving. 15 seconds of extremely intense pain and terror.

I have spoken to my neurologist about it. Have had it my whole life. He doesn’t seem too concerned. Anyone else out there get these?

the best was last year, we drove to Montana--not in truck camper, but in the Ascent with a Thule box, no snow tires, w dogs and kids. We hit I-25 at the CO-WY border and the wind was so bad i was afraid to take even one hand off the wheel. Gusts made the Thule into a sail. I almost ditched it at a Tractor Supply to hopefully pick up on return trip, it was that bad. It was blowing snow across the highway, creating major whiteouts. And i had a cold, trying not to cough or sneeze.

we're staying in SC this year....

Oof, that reminds me of when I was on a brunch date, talking and laughing and having a grand time. Mouthful of cheese grits, aaaaaaaand AAAA-CHOOOOOOOO!!!.

I'm talking a full shotgun blast of half chewed cheese grits all over her. In her hair, on her clothes, on her face.

We both just sat and stared in morbid silence as if to say..."did that really just happen?"

After profuse apologies I asked the waitress who had just watched it all go down for the check. She thought I was sunk.

Luckily this was with a woman that loved me and it was our first date after getting back together after a split, so it turned out okay.

But if it was a first date I wouldn't have blamed her for running out the restaurant.
