harmless corn snake. Eats rats, frogs, lizards, etc.. Good to have around actually and usually pretty docile unless they feel threatened.

It is a Ratsnake. In that color variety, they are often commonly referred to as corn snakes.

I accidently let my daughter's corn snake get loose in the house a couple years ago and he never showed back up. I still feel like a dick for that.

Definitely a corn snake. Not gonna hurt you or anyone else. Will kill pests in the area though.

As others said, it's a corn snake. Interestingly somehow the corn snake was introduced to Australia where it is now considered an invasive species. They are trying to exterminate it.
EDIT: the corn snake was introduced there by illegal black market sales to pet owners. The corn snake fetches about $800 on the black market there.
