Dairy Barn in Sulphur. I go there once every 5 years after I have my colonoscopy
. Great greasy burgers and homemade shakes.

The Creme Hut in Chatsworth, Ga. 87 again (10). American burgers and fries done right. I always try to hit it when I'm in town.
Ever been to Oakwood Diner in Dalton?

Strawn’s in Shreveport when I am in town. Aside from that, not too many left.

Tony’s Pizza in LC
We use to eat there twice a year as a kid. We'd go to our family reunions in Starks, and we'd stop there every time.

Sentry Grill in Ellick. Great flat top cooked burgers and daily lunches. Had their jalapeno burger with a fried egg added for lunch today.
Burger Inn in Oakdale. Actually their fried chicken is better than their burgers, and their burgers are pretty darn good.

You'd have a hard time convincing certain of my relatives that Hammond was a "small town."

The Sharron's special used to slap. They still have it and its good, but not as good as it used to be when the former owners had it.
I like their onion rings.. Its the thing stringy type..

Tampicos in Lafayette, my parents first took me when I was 2 weeks old, I'm 37 now. Ate there countless times as a kid, had my dad's 50th birthday party there, many date nights with my now wife, etc. It's fallen off in recent years and after a crap experience about a year ago we hadn't been since, but reading this thread makes me miss it, I'll probably go next week.

CB's Sandwich Shop, Greenville, Texas - Dad ate there before he went off to fight for the Marines in WWII, I ate there in h.s., and I had a burger there a few times as an adult.

Mohawk Tavern in Monroe for the win.
Been going there 60 plus years.
Only thing that's changed are the faces. The men's restroom still is outside the back door, too.

Are you from Starks? I was born and raised there. Such a small town no way I don’t know your family. Hell in Starks we are probably related

I've been traveling through that area for work since 2017. I stop to get pie and coffee quite often! Their food is hit and miss, but those pies are solid.
