But we got a Dollar General AND a Family Dollar now.

What is the Dollar Tree/Family Dollar all in one building thing I'm seeing now? I genuinely don't get it.

There's one entrance. Is one side of the store Dollar Tree and the other side Family Dollar? It makes no sense. Every time I drive past one I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

We had been living in a town of 15,586 for the past 25 years. Could not be happier with the our decision. In the past 2 years relocated to a smaller town of 8,300 and actually live 5 minute from town. Our nearest neighbor is 3/4 of mile down the road.
Could not be happier!

I would rather live outside of Tupelo than in any of the 10-20 biggest cities in America

Biggest pro about big cities is my future children could play lacrosse.
And the high culture that exists, or what is left

You're more than welcome to keep living in big cities governed by the likes of Mamdani, Cantrell and Beetlejuice.

I spent a weekend in Senoia GA recently, and it was anything but depressing. It is a quaint little town, that is fighting to remain quaint and little. We walked two blocks into the town square, had food at Brent and April's coffee shop, then went 2 more blocks down to the music festival. When the kids rode by on bicycles, everyone knew them. 21 year old me would not have liked it, but i would have loved to have raised kids there.

Small towns are great if the demographics are right.

Access to high-end medical care can be a problem for those who live in isolated small towns. Imagine having to drive two hours to see a specialist for frequent medical care.

Congrats. I think this is the most amount of DV's I've ever seen. Impressive.

I’ve lived in small towns and big cities. I’d choose small towns 100% every time. There is only one reason to move to the big city and that is money. Once you get that GTFO like your life depends on it.

I have money and live in a town of 1,000 with low cost of living

The only small towns I’d consider pure hell to live in are those out in the Texas panhandle, western Oklahoma, etc.

It’s fricking miserable out there

I have family in Beebe. I was born in Cabot

Gonna have to disagree. It’s not terrible but not great. Dry county makes it worse

One of these days…small town America is going to be the only refuge for White people fleeing violence and oppression!!!
