My old school mini MP3 player finally shite the bed. I can’t run with a bulky phone esp in summer. I don’t like the armband and it overheats anyways between summer and sweating. Any suggestions?

I noticed the iPod shuffle and it’s size is perfect, but does it only take iTunes? It’s also rather expensive. I think I paid $30 for my MP3 player several years ago and it’s small enough to fit in my pocket without notice and only takes a AAA battery.

Any suggestions for runners who like music when they run? Best options to clip or slide in pocket without being heavy enough to flop all around?

Had an iPod shuffle since 2010. It is the ideal running player, and has great battery life.

I put all kinds of illegal downloads on it

Garmin makes running watches that you can store music on. Check out the Garmin Forerunner 235/245.

I bought a ClipJam on Amazon a few years ago. Around $34. It is small enough that it might fly out a pocket though.

Yep.

If you do decide to cut out your sense of hearing and be oblivious to things behind you, please stay to the side so I can go around you.

They make little wasteband fannypack things that you can’t even notice or feel. I put my phone and a key in it and that’s all you need.
