In Virginia we're required to wear masks in buildings so I comply. I'm also at risk so I do what I can to keep myself protected.

Do some of you guys feel like you're less tough or come across as less MAGA as the next guy if you don't? Cereal question.

The chin strap mask shows you aren’t an a-hole, but also not a wuss.

3.2
While most (not all) local businesses that I spend money at have the state mandated sign, they don't actually require it so that puts me in 3. I have a scarf in the car for the odd occasion, for example if I happen to go somewhere that still has hall monitors at the entrance, which is worn around my neck once inside.
I have a very loose fitting, but "legit looking", mask for a couple places I go on vacations that require them, or to a local entertainment venue so they don't get in trouble, when I've gone to a more restrictive state for work, and when I visit my brother outdoors at his nursing home.
Pointless practice. Efficacy is minimal, if at all, in practical use if you are sick, and 99+% of the people out and about aren't sick. You can't spread what you don't have.

71. I wear mine in public places. Precautionary pain in the neck.

Do I seem contradictory? I've never had a problem wearing a mask in a public place. Hell, I wore one at the damn pumpkin patch that was giganto.

2. Don't wear them but you have one at your house or in your car
5. Wear then to sit down at a restaurant and grocery store
6. Keep a mask in your car at all times. Always ready to go when needed

I'm at about a five. I keep one with me all the time, but if no one else is wearing one neither am I. Kind of defeats the purpose.
Posted on 10/20/20 at 1:08 pm to LoneStar23
I guess I'd be a 2. I've only worn it in the waiting room at my Dr's office. One instance.

4...maybe 5. Depending on "wear one to sit down restaurant" i dont wear one at the table. Its generally a dumb rule that you have to wear it to the table or when walking around....but not worth the hassle. But i have avoided some places

I wear one at all times. Even in my house, even while sleeping. Everyone should. It's really the only way we will defeat this virus. I also carry a can of Lysol with me at all times. If I see someone without a mask or not properly wearing a mask, I'll ask them to wear it and wear it right, then spray Lysol so as to kill their covid germs.

I wear one when I have to and when I'm inside somewhere with a bunch of other people (even if I don't necessarily have to).
Chances of it stopping me from getting Covid are low, but I'm already forced to wear one most of the time inside so I don't really see any benefit over taking advantage of not having to wear one when the chance arises.
I don't wear them outside and don't really care what anyone else does unless someone is just flagrantly trying to make a point by not distancing/wearing a mask.

Probably a two.
Just in case I go to a state that sucks.
No one has to wear anything around here and its packed bars.
Still waiting for the bodies in the streets.
