Right. The gall of people indoctrinating their kids to love thy neighbor, help the needy, honor their mother and father, not kill people, not steal things and so on. It’s really frieightening what those damn Christians are doing to kids.

This may be the first time I've upvoted you. The Truth does seem to trigger you, and with hope, to a positive outcome for you.

The Truth

The truth you speak of is a personal truth, not an objective one. If you believing it makes your life better, good for you. I hope it brings you joy. Religion isn't for me. I wasted too much of my life in church.

Religion isn't for me either, and I get you. Truth and God aren't religion. Man makes that. Truth is. It's simple and takes me out of the way. No clanging symbols here. And, I don't smoke weed.

Eta. Your line on "personal" truth is not very honest. There's no such thing. Everyone can't have a truth. Everyone can have a religion of their own beliefs, which isn't truth.

Hence why I made sure to differentiate between personal and objective truth. There are a plethora of religions whose followers believe in the truth of it without being able to prove it to an outsider. That is what I was referring to as a personal truth.

A couple of the kids did not kneel initially and were slapped with a towel to get them to kneel. Oh wel......

The npc meme is so great because it can really be used by anyone to paint any side you choose. Very versatile.

I wonder how many Christians on this post are unironically complaining about the indoctrination of children?

I played syfa with his younger son (31-32 now?) and he coached me. I kept up with him through HS, but lost touch with him after 2005.

Yea. Gotcha. me and Jason have been buds since 94 when we met playing rugby at LSU.

Freddie still comes out to our tailgate for a few games every season.

Good Dude.
