Other than taking pain medication.....
I could use some suggestions. It is really uncomfortable!

Sleep on your back with some support under the knees.

Stick a dildo in your arse. It will distract you from the shoulder pain.

Get your boyfriend to punch you in the balls. Then you won't be worried about your rotator cuff.

It has to be better than trying to sleep when your wife has a torn rotator cuff.

On your non-torn side down.
Thin pillow between your knees and thighs.
Best pillow supporting head an neck.
Fluffy pillow under the bicep-elbow in the most comfortable position.
Google exercises to do daily to help it heal and maintain range of motion. In maybe two years, it will be behind you. Or have surgery and be done in a years time.
Avoid motions that may do further damage.

Avoiding surgery like the plague....I hear the recovery is like 6 months.

Total recovery is closer to a year.
Small price to pay for the increase in quality of life.

Surgery is a long recovery depending how good a shape you are in. I’m 2 months tomorrow from surgery and I’m about 70%. Get it looked at, it’s not gonna heal on its own

I agree. You will be able to do a lot of things in 12 weeks after surgery. 6 months is more like you are cleared to work (if you do a lot of physical work)
Guy at my hunting club was hunting and pulling back a crossbow in 12 weeks. I don’t think that is advised, but he was doing it anyway.

I second this. Works better than a recliner IMO.

I ice up before bed and take some pain reducing meds.

Sitting up after surgery. Tore mine, 5 months later had surgery after not being able to sleep and was back to normal in about 3 months.
