Coming from the person who told me a page ago that you don't give a frick about my compassion nor do you give a frick about my ancestors.
Because that gesture as genuine as red bottom heels with ridges. Basically you said that you will stop feeling compassion if blacks don't pipe down. That is insulting my friend. That is not discussing, that is just wanting the other side to be silent.

Didn't the US government and white Americans free the slaves? Shouldn't their descendants pay the federal government and white union descendants for rescuing them?

The US Government used the military to kill and/or relocate Indians.
Wasn't that started by European settlers though? They weren't a government. If anything England should have footed the entire bill.

I don't understand how that's the government's responsibility to pay that money.

I'm not saying it is one way or the other. I was just interested in trying to quantify it since no one usually does.

In that case, would we require the African tribes to contribute to the reparations? Weren't they the original sellers of African slaves to the US?

Are you retarded? The US government in the last half of the 19th century wasn't a government?

If we're going to blame England, then we might as well blame the Normans and even the ancient Romans.

I was speaking to you directly. I did not group you or anyone else. YOU DID THAT. I specifically said my compassion towards YOU is what was wavering due to your blatant disrespect for what my ancestors endured. I never disrespected what happened to your ancestors (assuming your stories about lineage aren't BS), I merely said acting like others didn't endure the same treatment albeit for a shorter time in the states is blatant disrespect. I don't judge people as a whole based on the actions of one. Whether it be race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, etc. I grew up in a poor town with a majority AA population. My view of the world and of people of specific skin types if I was as narrow minded as you would be despicable.

I understand. Using your number and 40 million as the total black population, you're looking at about $22,700 per person. You think that will be deemed an acceptable number? I don't.

If so, wouldn't we then have to calculate 400 years of room and board plus a free transatlantic cruise just to balance the sheet?

(obvious joke but go ahead w/ the downvote, I deserve it!)
