You're right, EBT isn't about race. At all.

Probably a better correlation would be gender. Or sex for the Democrats

Now, extrapolate that to the actual US demographic. Whites outnumber blacks by how much?

That's the SJW talking point. "There are more whites on food stamps than blacks." This is true because whites outnumber blacks by about 5/1 but black people are more than twice as likely to use EBT.

Under federal law, states may not tax food that is purchased with SNAP benefits. If a customer buys a bottle of Coke with cash (or an equivalent like a check or credit card), that’s taxable in many states, whereas if the customer pays with SNAP, it is not taxable.

This is why only property owners should vote

I absolutely agree that only property owners should get to vote on property tax proposals.

Yeah, I meant from a government perspective, taxes buy candy then pay dentist bills. And apparently these days, people on Medicaid get gift cards and shite to take their kids to the doctor. I heard it on the radio. It said receive prizes and incentives for completing your child's wellness checks when you have Louisiana Amerigroup Medicaid. I do know someone whose kid is on Medicaid and she told me she got a gift card for taking her daughter for a check up.
Where are the prizes for me when I get taxes held out?

You pay taxes on food at grocery stores in Louisiana?

Food is tax free in Texas.

SNAP purchases are ineligible for state and local tax.

There's no tax on the purchases

It's taxed but much lower than other purchases. I think it's like 3% or something like that

Almost positive. I do all the grocery shopping.

False, EBT transactions do not pay sales tax.

While it may not be "the same as you and me," they do pay many of the same taxes. E.g., sales, gasoline, property (even if renting).

All jokes aside, just go to a cornerstore.

*drives up in new mercedes*
- grabs soft drinks, chips, candy, takes out EBT
- asks for game silver cigarillos and a pack of kool, takes out a WAD of cash, hundreds and 20s.

I see that shite everyday.

As the owner of a "corner" store, I can verify this.
