Oh believe me, I can’t stand that people like Kibbles abuse the system and then show off their 10$ rose tea and other ill gotten gains while scamming the rest of us.

If you are truly arguing that the Republican Party has as many poor/government dependent voters as the Democratic Party, you are either completely dishonest or very naive. Hell, without bussing ignorant people to the polls in mass numbers, the Democratic Party wouldn't be relevant in national elections.

This is not “exactly” on topic but it’s related. While on a trip recently, I went inside a convience store and the guy working the counter went to high school with me. We were not close friends but I just stood there talking with him for about 15-20 mins.
I was shocked at the number of obviously poor people coming inside and buying $40 worth of food and cigs.
I asked him about it and he said that most of them were in his store several times a day.
It reminded me of that Bible verse “You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me."
It’s sad really.
But I don’t think any government system could really help them as long as they have control of any $$.
More taxes won’t solve it.

The 72% illegitimacy rate among black children is the primary reason that they lag behind whites and other races in incarceration rates and income. That is whole other thread though.

When people get their Tax credits, they'll blow it in weeks (or days) on silly stuff, which is why poor stay poor.

From owning a convenience store in a lower income (now mostly Hispanic)for over 20 years I can tell you the poor whites who typically have food stamps don't vote.

It won't. If they have .04 on the EBT card they will spend it so it won't be "lost".

Black male LSU professor told us "racists like to make up excuses for why blacks live in poverty, they try to blame it on us and say that it's because 70% of our kids don't have fathers, but the poverty is really because of the modern day slavery that occurs in prisons and because of systemic racism, people just like to blame it on our community". Dropped that class because I could see my letter grade dropping just for being a white male.
