Here we go. Show me on the doll where the frat boy touched your girlfriend.

We can show you on the college campuses over the last 150 years where fraternities have jumped outnumbered GDI's and walked away high-fiving and feeling good about themselves.

No, I know what facts are and I rely on facts. The fact is the minorities in this country are marginalized.

I have never been marginalized, but am part of the class that has, unfortunately, marginalized people of color in this country.

If it wasn't for progressive activism, marginalism would last forever. Gay would still not be able to marry (which the ban was marginalization). Equal employment opportunity would not exist. The list is very long.

I think that's more of a factor of the generational wealth of Greeks and not so much a factor of them being these ultra-giving generous people.

It's more of a factor of Greek alums having the Greek experience give them a stronger tie to the school. They may not be more generous overall, but more willing to give to the school because they feel more strongly about it.

I'm pretty sure Lodge Cook was a Sigma Chi, not a Lambda Chi.

It's becoming more and more apparent that a growing number of colleges and universities have ceased to be the institutions of higher learning they're supposed to be and instead now function as little more than liberal/progressive/socialist indoctrination factories.

It's the way of the future. Capitalism in it's present form is in it's death throes. And that is a good thing. Society is tired of corporate overreach and is ready for something a little more bottom up and local. Less emphasis on competition and more on compassion and cooperation. Capitalism has failed the global economy, corrupted our political system and politicians and completely corrupted our society who still believe that endless growth, consumerism and keeping up with the Joneses is what life is all about. I look forward to it's dissolution. Deal with it.

These people are idiots. They're mostly my peers, but don't mistake that this is our whole generation. These people are only a loud minority forcing the majority to stay silent

Wow. You actually get it.

However, the majority cannot remain silent. Squeaky wheel always gets the grease

It is almost impossible to do away with "marginalization" whether real or imagined, as long as some members of society find it easier to claim "victim status" than to stand on their own two feet, stop blaming others for everything in their life, and do something positive or to correct their situation.

As I learned in my sociology classes, the dominant classes always assert that those pointing out their actual and factual mistreatment (such as people saying minority groups are marginalized) are trying to play the victim. Do you say that anyone writing about the holocaust is "playing the victim?"

Minorities in this country are marginalized. Fact.

My bad. If you say he was a Sigma Chi then he was a Sigma Chi. When the Lambda Chi house was torched by unknown arsonists, he was among many who generously cut big fat checks to help them rebuild. Which was where the misunderstanding was and also shows his generosity.

No. And that is a foolish assumption on your part. It makes no sense in the context of this post.

You should go back and read what I said.
