No, that's not what he said. He said don't use marginalization as a reason for not moving forward. Marginalization is word only. It actually has no power and cannot keep anyone from doing and moving.

Marginalization: When someone is not given the full level of respect, rights and/or opportunities due to their membership or inclusion into a recognized minority group.
Gays couldn't marry - marginalized
Few black professors at majority white colleges - marginalized
No consideration of arguments for reparations - marginalized
Minimum wage non-increases - marginalized

You cannot marginalize someone who does not have a recognized minority status for the same reason that whites cannot be racist.

No I didn't. I never said "cannot move forward." I said it was "almost impossible." There is a difference.
"Correctly point out their marginalization?" Again, no. I said there were "some" within certain groups that want to use marginalization as an excuse to blame others for their situation, and do nothing to help themselves.
The same could be said of any "group" at whom you wish to point fingers. There are those in positions of power and authority who incorrectly presume that it auto automatically makes them superior to others. Again, it is some and not all.
Please leave your broad brush in the bucket.
