Might want to hear the end of a song/podcast segment.

No biggie.

Sometimes it takes me awhile to work up my courage to face that mop and bucket all day.

Nothing wrong with getting to work early.

No, sometimes I get to work early and just sit in the car a few minutes and listen to the radio before heading into the office.

It's better than the guy that is jumping out of his car and running in because he's late.

What if he's late and still sitting in the car? If you are already late, what is an additional 5 minutes?

I don’t see what’s wrong with it.

No one and I mean NO ONE wants to be first to the landscaping site. Gassing up, loading water cans. Hooking trailers. You know?

My office doesn’t open the door until 7:00 for the hourly employees. I just assume they’re always waiting to get into the building.

I am definitely not on a phone call but depending when I get to work, I definitely sit in my truck (usually playing Words with Friends) for a few minutes. Now grant it the shuttle leaves to enter the plant at very specific times so if it's 10-15 minutes until the next one leaves, I would just be sitting on the shuttle doing the same thing anyway.

My wife used to work for Napa corporate.

They couldn't clock in more than 8 minutes early and couldn't clock in more than 8 minutes late.

Combine Atlanta traffic and anything over a 15 mile commute, and tons of employees were forced to arrive about 30 minutes early every day on the chance that traffic might be bad.
