Sirius/XM coverage of Ozzy's death

Double posting here and music board because this is music related, but traffic can be slower on the music board.
About a year ago, the wife (no pics) and I dropped satellite radio to save a few bucks. I'd always wanted to hear Ozzy's Boneyard's coverage of this day. Curious how they'd do it, and figured it'd be THE place to celebrate him and his music. Wondered if they'd have a bunch of unreleased interviews and other stories between songs.
Kinda feel like I'm missing out.
Anyone have a link to their announcement or anything?

For $10/month, you could not feel like that.

I cut it out a year ago after having it for 20 years. Got tired of them jacking the price and having to bitch at them for 3 vehicles every year. Went to the app for a couple bucks a month and then they jacked up the app price so I quit and don’t miss it one bit.

Yesterday they had people calling in all day giving some stories.
Also for the person saying 10 dollars a month, woof, we pay like 2 dollars a month locked in at our convenience (aka can cancel whenever) for like 2 dollars a month. My wife's car has an issue with it's Bluetooth so it's worth it for us.

I stopped on that channel a few times on the drive home yesterday. It was basically no music with a bunch of celebrities calling in and telling their Ozzy stories. Nothing spectacular that you won't see on the Netflix special that will probably come out in the next few months.
Did you drop your $10 Netflix account also?

Fair ha. Thanks to you and other poster above saying what they're covering.

Don't have Netflix.
Am absolutely looking forward to the documentaries. And movie version of the last concert.
As to the first commenter, picking xm back up won't retroactively give the moment they announced it which is what I'm mostly interested in. Like listening to the radio call of Lacy's walkoff touchdown against Ole miss. I can watch this coming year's game, but that's not what I'm looking for here.

Mine is like $5-$6 per month

FWIW, Ozzy Osbourne farewell show was the highest-grossing charity concert of all time.
$190 million donated to children's hospitals.

I've been listening Ozzie's Boneyard all morning. It's been great. Nothing but Ozzy of course, but I haven't noticed that many stories. Shannon Gunz is off and the fill-in is playing more music than talking.

they have ozzy's boneyard and hair nation...they're running alot of his music today.
I was listening to Octane yesterday when the news broke but the dj's didn't even say anything so that confirms their lazy asses tape their shows lol

quote:Similar here. About 2/3 weeks ago I got a postcard offering 3 months free with no credit card required. I signed up to see if my prior decision to cancel was right. It was. They just don't do my two favorite genres well at all. I find myself having to constantly switch stations. So many artist dedicated channels I would never listen to.

Only thing I noticed was that they started running a taped tribute to him (about 60 seconds long) crediting his life and works. Nothing earth shattering. Typical somber "we remember" type stuff.
