Kennywood and King's Island are good too.

The Big Zephyr at Pontchartrain Beach was my go-to coaster thrill back in the day.

Sadly, long gone.

Looks like they've been having some issues with it.

I would have a hard time fighting off intrusive “get me off of this at any cost” thoughts if I were stuck up there for 20 minutes. Yikes.

I haven’t been since millennium force was new

I want to go back. A friend and I would make the 8 hour drive for a few years once we were driving.

This looks like so much fun.

I’d be curious to see what fail safes there are for the breaks on the switch track. If those fail to stop the cars before the drop you’re looking at 20 or so dead instantly.

Kennywood is a great family park with many solid coasters. We used to go there for our end-of-the-year school “picnic” when I was in elementary/Jr.High.

I remember going when the Magnum XL 200 first opened, and then a few years later when Millenium Force opened. My favorite coaster there is the Raptor. Haven't been there in 25 years though.

I still freaking love Millennium Force. So cool right next to the lake, and the first drop right out of the gate is awesome.

Looks fun.

Sadly, the only activities proscribed by my cardio thoracic surgeon are heavy lifting and roller coasters. Upper ascending aortic aneurism…closed hydraulic system failing at its weakest point.

I can lift less more but the fun things like that are off the table.

Went last month before it opened but had friends that got to ride it early (for some charity). They enjoyed it.

Top Thrill 2 is ridiculous. The new cars sit higher, so when you come down the big hill, the snap roll is much rougher.

Millennium Force, Steel Vengeance, Maverick, and Gatekeeper are still high-quality rides as well.

I might go to CP on Monday, but I am not going to wait for hours to ride it.
