You know what I’m talking about- meekly walking up to another persons dog and offering them a limp wristed hand.

I cringe so hard when I see people do this.. just another symptom of the pussification of America. I don’t exactly remember when this practice became commonplace but growing up I remember just walking up to a dog and petting it if you wanted to.

“Can I pet you” is in the same vein as asking someone their gender pronouns.. rant off

The issue is dogs in public places where they don't belong

I hope the next dog that you try to pet bites off a couple of your fingers.

Do you want people to give the dog a firm handshake?

Don't bitch when a dog bites you.

I just whip it out and piss all over the dog, asserting my dominance.

Speak for yourself, bitchboi.

I walk up to other people’s dogs and kick them in face with a steel toe boot to let them know who is the real dominant one between us.

Agreed. I don’t ask to pet your wife either.

Junkyard from GI Joe taught me that offering a hand to the dog first is a way to make it know you are not an aggressor. Why would I want a dog to think I'm an aggressor?

Knowing is half the battle.

This is the wrong way to approach a strange dog. Just saying.
