Men don’t have a biological clock so 30’s are just fine. Once that child is born to these women the first thing they want to do is cut back hours or stay home. Children>Career.

A very good chunk of the women in the maternity ward at our hospital are in their late 30s to early 40s. It’s an affluent area though so you can expect the age to be higher.

35 plus is a geriatric pregnancy. It’s not ideal. It’s definitely a risk I would not want my wife to take especially into that 38-45 range. Increase of every disability and a risk for the mother. I would have my kids around 25-34 ideally. You have to convince women family is more important than a career and feminism is deep rooted. Most women will die alone.

I know, our third was a “geriatric” pregnancy. Actually the easiest. Life isn’t ideal though. Fortunately a lot of modern medicine has helped most of our patients have pretty straightforward deliveries.

It’s an existential crisis that threatens the existence of our society as we know it. Our government should be taking measures to try to reverse the downward trend. But are they? As time goes on, that number becomes fewer and fewer. Eggs may also be of lesser quality as you age

Also, if a woman hits the age of 30 without kids then 50% of those women will never have kids even if they want them.
Society continues to lie to women and preach career first and family later. Life starts getting pretty lonely when you hit 40 and you don’t have a family and most women realize focusing solely on a career is not satisfying and something is missing in their life.

I'm not familiar with this stat but I'll assume this is accurate for the discussion.
Man, that really makes you think. A woman that goes to college and isn't in a relationship basically has a 7-8 year window post education to meet someone, settle down and have a family. Even less if they go to law school, medical school, grad school etc.
50% obviously still can, but that's a gamble that can seriously shape your life in a pretty small window.
