UH student was one of the bodies. I think she got the ball really rolling on the serial killer talk. The rest must not be of the “give a damn” variety.

I haven’t even heard a cause of death on any of them. Even the student.

It's not what's in the water, it's that most of the world doesn't think of Houston being the huge spread all over the country side agglomeration of many different ethnic groups who may not get along with other groups, much less get along within their own group.
When you look and how many million people live there, how many live there and aren't counted, and how many additional hundreds of thousands live in the suburbs and adjacent rural areas, these numbers may not be bad.
Now somebody has to dust off his or her speaking voice and chirp that any one death is too many, but people have been killing other people for all time.
