At a party in undergrad, the police broke it up and this girl took off, she got spear tackled in the mud in a similar fashion. Best part is the police just told everyone else to go home. She went to jail. It was a satisfying moment.

Nope. Don’t know her intent. In the moment, you don’t have the advantage of knowing if she is armed with a knife or not.
Security did what they are supposed too. The fan did not.
