If she rebelled.... how long until they cut her power and water and then fined her? Then likely arrest her.
Frick California and all the liberal strongholds. I will never care to visit these clown worlds.

Probably within 48 hours.

If only California had just followed the science:

Her strength would be in numbers. All of those businesses need to revolt.

I see people say this, but it is committing suicide.
The theory of "They can't shut us all down" is simply not true.
Especially when paired with a lot of businesses are in support of the sanctions.

These businesses are likely to go out of business so at some point they really have nothing to lose.
These owners will never recover. They will always have a substantial financial burden for the rest of their lives from this. It seems like a large segment of our population can't even empathize with that or truly understand what it means for our country. And no, another large bailout from the Feds doesn't fix that.

I am going to say something provocative: the shite that spurred our own revolution against the Brits was less egregious than this.
You aren’t wrong, debatably.
Being forced to house soldiers is pretty egregious, but these lockdowns are as well.

If they all had nothing to lose at the same time I would agree you might have some level of force. Those that have found ways to operate within the rules or have some hella deep pockets to last aren't going to rebel.
Then you have the compounded problem of losing your business and still having legal problems that don't disappear when you have no money.

This compounded by the fact that you are going to be fighting in court against a Machine. That machine has limitless funds that sadly enough was financed by the taxes you paid. One person cannot compete against that. Several people can't.

It's only going to take one owner to start a wave that will sweep the country.

I think the only answer would be a mass law suit by small businesses. Maybe even civil? I don’t know know anything about law but surely there would be grounds surrounding allowing large businesses (Walmart, target, move theater, etc) to operate while small businesses are shut down long term.

Hasn’t that already happened? And they were thrown in jail? I agree with the people saying it is not feasible or rational to ask these people to defy these tyrannical orders. It’s so sad, but it would be worth going out of business than dealing with the legal and civil repercussions of defying God King Louis XIV decrees

People should hang for this nonsense
Posted on 12/5/20 at 4:18 pm to fr33manator
It’s absurdity, especially when the people making these tyrannical decrees and scaring people to death with talk of “dark winter”, “this is not the time to relax”, “ you and everyone you live will die if you step one foot outside of your house without a mask”, are not worried at all and just living life as normal, taking extravagant vacations and the like.

The commies in charge would gladly shut every single one of them down and take a campaign donation from Walmart, Target, etc. Only thing that will matter is if the tax revenue collapses (it will) and still then they will blame it on racism as usual. The residents will keep voting (D). Ghost town ensues and the politicians retire rich while the normal citizens leave to vote (D) elsewheres.
