Yep, that's where a bar needs to go. And not a dance club, but and after work happy hour type crowd that evolves to a younger social crowd about 9 pm.

The Cub II, if you will.

Only once. When Freak Nasty played there. Other weekends I could be found at House of Wheels impressing people with my backwards skating prowess.

Yep, now there's a freakin Whataburger where Murrell's used to be. Nothing was better than a plate of beef tips and rice at 2 in the morning from there.

Yeah if I'd had known they were getting rid of the rocket I would have told them I'd remove it myself for free and put it in my yard. That thing was awesome.

I miss going to Hamels as a kid

going to the duck ponds off east kings and my dad taking me to get an ICEE afterward

Mike Woods park in Bossier by the base. Used to go to the pool there.

so many good memories. I know Shreveport sucks and I was glad to move away, but my opinion has softened over the years

I used to have a lot of fun going to the Captains games with my Granddad at Fair Ground Field. It's a shame what that place looks like now. I heard rumors that the city is thinking about tearing it down.

Was in town last weekend for the first time in a while. Saw that Camp Forbing is now an empty lot.

I went to hundreds of Captains games growing up. Some of my favorite times as a kid. Kills me to see that stadium rotting away every time I drive into town.

Speaking of sports- the CFL Shreveport Pirates, circa 1996. Worst franchise in cfl history
