Shreveport Jailers placed on leave after fisticuffs

"Summons" is a noun. "Summon" is a verb. Maybe police jargon has muddied the waters here, and maybe that's not a new thing, but it's not a good thing. There is absolutely no need to abuse the noun "summons" into being a verb.
If I were a reporter and some lower middle IQ cop gave me a statement with "summons" used as a verb, I'd quote him with a big fat "[sic]" next to it.
Back the blue, though, buddy... you know there's an upper limit on the IQ a cop can have, right?
