It honestly seemed like the mayor had a hard time buying what he was selling when telling everyone how great Shreveport is to visit.

Like Baton Rouge could keep a straight face if it had the guts to attempt a Bowl.

But so did Murfreesboro, Fargo and Anniston, AL

Congrats to BR on your 6 year run.

Guy had zero personality in that commercial.

Probably because he was concentrating on trying to read.

Adrian is probably trying to figure out how can steal from it, that’s all he’s been good at so far.

I mean, this had nothing to do with BR, but that’s still an odd flex.

The only cool thing about the Independence Bowl is that they can usually get Barksdale to give them a BUFF flyover, like they did today.

It's not as glamorous as a fast-mover roaring over the stadium, but if you've never seen a 52 in flight, it's goddamned impressive when that giant fricker comes shrieking (best way to describe the sound of its engines) over.

They don’t even have to get Barksdake to do it, it happens many times every day!

A bowl game isn't the World's Fair. Baton Rouge could absolutely be sold as a bowl game location

We got F/A-18s for the flyover in 2017.

Rudy tossed the coin.

They are the home BBQ, Creole, and soul food. Love it whenever North Louisiana tries to claim the food culture that South Louisiana has

There is a large creole community less than an hour south of Shreveport near Natchitoches.

They probably flew up to eastern Colorado, dropped some practice bombs, and made a low pass on the way back.
