Showing up to a place of business before they open

Waiting to snag a few UPS packages and people are waiting in the truck loading area to pick up their shite they need to go inside for.
The door clearly states "do not enter," it's a huge safety issue, and the girl up front won't be here for five more minutes.
These people have to know all of this to even know picking up a package at the hub is an option.
When did we as a society fall so far?
Inconsiderate and stupid.

I have people waiting when I come back from lunch all the time. That's why I have a back parking lot and a back door. Those frickers can wait until I'm good and ready.

I show up to the liquor store every day before it opens just in case the lady gets there early so I can get my Smirnoff minis and drink them in the parking lot.

Back when I worked at a bank, these people would drive me crazy. We had no way of knowing if they were looking to rob us, jump us while we were walking in... or what. It is a HUGE security risk.

I worked retail in college.
Every opening shift I worked, people would start waiting at the front door 5-10 minutes before opening. They'd look either miserable or genuinely concerned that the store wasn't open yet.
One time, someone managed to get into the store 20 minutes before opening and was annoyed when he got to the register and nobody was there to ring his stuff up.

I was waiting at the locked front door in my vehicle.
I am not going inside the warehouse to harass guys trying to load trucks who do not deal with customers.

I had a woman flip out the other day because I wouldn't let her in early to get a gift card. People do not understand security and liability issues

Give people an inch and they'll take a mile. Nobody's going to look out for you but you. If you start opening up at 8:55 and closing at 5:05, they'll start getting there at 8:50 and 5;10. Except for the ones who make an appointment and never show up at all. If they can find someone who'll be more accomodating, they're welcome to it. I have all the business I can handle.

Why don't you try walking a mile in their shoes. Some of them probably have fibromyalgia and are waiting on their medication so they don't get sick.
