Look, these kids shouldn't be expelled, suspended, charged, or any of that. What they SHOULD have to do is spend a day watching and reading about the Holocaust, seeing people starving to death, gassed to death, bodies burning, children separated, all in the name of that fricking salute. MAYBE it'll get through their thick adolescent heads that there's ABSOLUTELY nothing funny about glorifying Nazism.
That's the problem with kids and a hell of a lot of adults today. They have no appreciation for history or the lessons to be learned from the experiences of our ancestors.

How do you know that these kids are throwing up a Nazi salute? Did you jump into the photograph and ask them?

College admissions committees?
It's not 1970 anymore. I don't recall meeting with anyone to get into LSU this century. I applied, i was accepted, i paid my money, i went to school. There was no committee.
and why would an employer care, or even know a potential employee was in that picture unless it was on their own social media site, and they did not have a lot of pictures to sift through to find this one?

The kid on the far right of the photo who is not doing the salute talked to reporters. He says the photog asked the students to do it.

Sure. Do the same for the history of the Soviet Union, China, and the rest of the murdering communist regimes over the past 100 years. What the these countries have done and continue to do to there people should be a learning opportunity also.
