I honestly believe that over the years as Americans have become bigger just about all clothes manufacturers have made clothes bigger without changing the actual size on the tag. A few months ago I bought some large sized Carhartt shirts and they were huge on me, I had to exchange them for medium sized. I haven’t wore a medium sized shirt since I was a kid.

A new medium shirt fits perfectly and then you wash it once and it becomes slighlty too small.

I have this same problem with large shirts.. doesn’t matter if it’s dri-fit or cotton... it’s infuriating tbh

A grown man wearing a medium? I thought they sold those so women could buy men's T's.

Depends on the shirt. Some larges are too long on me, some too wide. Some mediums are too short, some too tight.

I guess my options are to either get skinnier, or get fatter. I ain't getting taller.

You wear a medium shirt? Maybe go to a petite ladies store or switch brands to Geranimals.

I have the same problem. Large is usually too long and loose in the neck. Medium can be too short and tighter in the arms than I would like depending on the brand.
