home in Sherwood Forest flooded a couple of inches a few months ago. They are thinking of driving to Texas. I'm tempted to tell them to stay put. Suggestions?

If you're gonna make a move, better do it right now. Even then it may be too late. I've heard westbound is an absolute disaster right now.

If they have a 2 story house or a secure room with no windows downstairs may be better to ride it out now than risk getting stick on the road.

My grandfather is staying at a Holiday Inn off of Airline Hwy…I don’t know why. My grandmother is in her house thinking she will be safe because “Paw Paw nailed rosaries to the trees so they won’t fall”…and my aunt in St. Francisville is staying with her pets. I’m worried.

On another note, if they're stuck off Sherwood, they can at least get shitfaced at the Londoner.

Stay put and let TD know if they need anything past Sunday. I can be there in 15-1:30 depending on how many trees are down.

Just checked highway cams. Clear sailing to at least Lafayette. Little traffic
