Liquid courage is the best part of karaoke. We’ve all gotten up there and rocked it off the bat just to not realize how long the song really is.

Better than old depressing country songs by people feeling they missed their calling.

That's literally the best part.

It was the whole damned point of karaoke, before the theater club f's and hags discovered it.

People who take karaoke too seriously have always given me a creepy vibe.

It’s ridiculous how people who are 6 Long Islands deep think they can adequately perform a song in front of a crowded bar.

What’s ridiculous is you are asking a bar to not allow someone to drink if they want to karaoke. The way a bar makes money is selling alcohol. The bar will not do anything except what is required to maintain their liquor license

If that's what you want don't go to a karaoke bar.

No, but anytime I'm leaving a karaoke bar I always fill out the slip for James Brown's Say It Loud(I'm Black and I'm Proud) for the drunkest person there. Hijinks presumably ensue.

There should be a drink minimum for the singers and the crowd

So you are a fan of the Step Brothers Karaoke'n'Roll

If you can't sing...just sit down. That's our motto.

People who get just drunk enough to get up there, have nervous hands, and mumble their way off beat to a song is by far the best.

Not a fan of when it just makes extroverts more obnoxious.

Are you retarded?

If anything there should be a minimum.
