Should jobs start requiring BMI tests before hiring employees?

Every business I’ve ever been to, the obese ones are the ones that can’t seem to do their jobs properly. Every time I go into a DMV, or a grocery store, its always the 300 pound wildebeest woman that is slowing everyone up. We need more energy in the workplace, not some obese slugs slowing everyone down.

The USA is the first country in history where obesity is a bigger health issue for society than malnutrition.

So you want to replace the fat women at the DMV with fat women who barely speak English?

also:

By 2010, seven out of ten Mexicans were overweight with a third clinically obese.[1][12] Mexico ranks the most obese country in the world in adult obesity (as of 2013)

They do something like that in Japan. They fine the employer if their employee has a certain waist size or fat %. Employers go out of their way to not hire fat people and give their employees gym memberships as a benefit. This was a decade ago so not sure if it is still in effect.

So fat people should be fired and get fatter or put on paid leave until they drop 20?

Also, Dustin, Jace, and Ronnie might each be 5 feet 8 and weigh 230, but they get the job done and that's why they sport the Costas and the Crocs and the vacay in Pensacola. Some obese people are in the right line of work.

BMI is a bad way to measure individuals. It's way better at measuring large populations.
