Ask ihometiger and see what he says after his experience in Afghanistan. He will probably tell you to get out today.

Better get out while you can. This administration has a history of leaving Americans to die.

I bought my plane tickets in November. The plan was to return to the states Feb 14th and head back to Ukraine June 5th. My wife and baby were going to stay in Ukraine until we all leave together in September.

If you stay, go live on YouTube. We could use some workday entertainment around here

Ukrainians are probably smarter and more honest than the failing Biden administration and their foreign policy advisors.

. I don’t know if many of you contemplate the horror of war or how fast this could spiral out of control if Russia uses all of the forces the way they have them spread out. It would mean a full out nation wide invasion.

Doubt it’s going to happen. Our corporate media is pushing really hard for you to think it’s going to happen. The experts on Russia don’t think it’s likely however.

If you are serious . . . .

The crude oil markets open again at 5 am US Central tomorrow. It closed at about 93.10, I think (WTI). The price plainly has a war premium built in.

If it spikes in the morning, that is a very, very bad sign. If it falls below 90, you can breathe a little. If it falls below 85, then a lot of very smart people in the world who are very well informed expect no war.

After what happened in Afghanistan, I wouldn't count on our present government to do anything to help it's citizens in Ukraine once the shooting starts.
As to the question of will Putin invade?
Why else would he amass such a huge military presence on the border. Putin is a thug and isn't worried about a mumbling, stumbling, old man we elected Commander in Chief.

Ukrainians are not scared of war. They see it as a way of life. People like that have lived their entire life under threat of being invaded or having to fight. I would definitely get out, but I would not blame you if you decided to stay with her. I am pretty sure the marriage is over if the husband leaves in that situation and she stays. She’ll see you as weak and never look at you the same. She probably won’t let you take the child either. Tough situation.
