And how long are you willing to wait for someone to come along willing to pay what you’re asking?

And the taxes and insurance each year would be?
Parish regulations? Groundwater rules? Part of a national forest, a county wildlife preserve, or something that could dump more regulations on you?
Are the neighbors hoarders, druggies, or Daryl, Daryl and Daryl?
What does the sheriff tell you about the neighborhood arrest records?

You don't wait for someone to come, you go find them.

I like your confidence. Can I pay you $15,000 for your lot?
Posted on 4/24/20 at 6:53 pm to Mud_Till_May
or, you could buy it for $5k
spend $3-$4k clearing, leveling, and finishing the lot
then be forced to sell it for the same $5k you bought it for
there are much better ways to invest then try to do that with such a small area for profit and huge huge downside risks

You should probably put a trailer on it and rent it out to that dude’s stepson, trying to abandon his unborn twins, from that other thread

I thought you lost your carpet selling job?

I could buy it and clear it and sell it for 7-10 thousand. It would be a fun project and teach me about flipping land.
Are you confident about the numbers?
Is it 2k worth of labor and expense?
What else do you need to learn about vacant lot flipping?

It wont cost me even 1000 to cut it out. I've already got the tools to do it. I could also rent a piece of machinery to do the heavy lifting.

I did and started my own company. Ove made about 7,000 in revenue in the first month.
